Suda (“Suda,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a social venue discovery and planning platform that helps people discover venues, make plans, invite others, request reservations or visits, coordinate arrival, create and view venue-related content, and participate in features such as Suda Passport, Suda Stars, creator experiences and related services.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Suda collects, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.
Suda is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], with a registered address at [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
1. Information we collect
Account and profile information.
When you create or use a Suda account, we may collect information such as your name, mobile number, email address, date of birth or age information, profile photo, username or Suda ID, preferences and other information you choose to add to your profile.
Identity and age verification information.
Certain Suda features may require identity or age verification. Depending on the verification method used, an identity-verification provider may process identification documents, photographs, selfies, facial-verification information or related information. Suda may receive verification results, status information, provider reference identifiers and limited verification data needed to operate the service. Identity verification does not mean that Suda has conducted a criminal-background check or guarantees that another user is safe or trustworthy.
Invitation and planning information.
When you create, send, receive or respond to an invitation, we may process the venue, date and time, recipient information, payment preference such as “My treat” or “Split bill,” arrival preference such as “Meet there,” “I’ll pick you up” or “I’ll send a ride,” messages, response status, expiration information and related planning data.
Where an invitation is sent to a mobile number, Suda may normalize, cryptographically transform or otherwise securely process that number for recipient matching, fraud prevention and verification.
Bookings, visits and venue activity.
We may process reservation requests, booking statuses, venue details, party size, expected arrival information, Visit Pass or check-in information, verified visits and related interaction history.
Location information.
If you enable a feature that needs location, such as nearby venue discovery or Nearby functionality, Suda may process your device location. Where appropriate, Nearby features should use approximate or privacy-preserving location rather than making your precise location publicly visible. You can control location access through your device permissions.
Content and creator information.
If you upload or interact with Reels, photographs, captions, comments, venue tags or other content, we process that content and associated metadata. If you participate in Suda’s creator programme, we may also process creator status, attribution and activity associated with venue visits or bookings.
Suda Passport and Stars.
We may process verified visits, stamps, achievements, activity history, Stars transactions, balances, earning events, reversals and other information needed to operate these features.
Device and usage information.
We may automatically receive information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, browser information, timestamps, error information, pages or screens viewed, interactions with features and security or diagnostic events.
Communications.
If you contact Suda, join a waitlist, submit a form, report content, report a safety concern or communicate with support, we may retain the information you provide and our response.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to provide and operate Suda; create and secure accounts; authenticate users; verify identity or age where required; deliver and respond to invitations; support bookings and venue visits; operate Passport and Stars; display and moderate content; attribute creator activity; provide relevant venue discovery; protect users and venues; prevent fraud, spam and abuse; enforce platform rules; troubleshoot and improve the service; communicate about accounts and transactions; comply with legal obligations; and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand how Suda is used and improve the platform.
3. Invitations and phone verification
Suda invitation links may function as secure credentials associated with a specific invitation. Do not deliberately share a private invitation link with people who are not intended recipients.
For some invitations, Suda may ask the recipient to confirm the mobile number to which the invitation was sent and may send a one-time verification code before allowing an invitation response.
Verification information is used to protect invitations from unauthorized acceptance or decline.
4. Venues and other users
Information you intentionally share through Suda may be visible to other participants in a plan or invitation.
For example, a host or recipient may see information necessary to understand an invitation, and a venue may receive information necessary to process a booking, expected visit or check-in.
We do not provide venues or other users with information that is unnecessary for the relevant Suda interaction.
5. Third-party service providers
Suda relies on service providers to operate parts of the platform. These may include cloud hosting and database providers, authentication providers, identity-verification providers, communications and SMS providers, analytics providers, content-processing services, payment providers if payments are enabled, and other technical vendors.
These providers may process information on Suda’s behalf according to their contractual responsibilities and applicable law.
Where an external service is presented directly to you, such as a ride provider or another third-party service, that provider’s own terms and privacy practices may also apply.
6. Payments
If Suda introduces direct payment processing, payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers. Suda may receive transaction status, amount, references and other payment metadata without necessarily receiving complete card or banking credentials.
Labels such as “My treat” or “Split bill” may describe the participants’ intended arrangement and do not necessarily mean that Suda itself has collected or distributed payment.
7. How we share information
We may share information with service providers acting on our behalf; venues where needed to fulfil a reservation or visit; people participating in your invitation or plan; professional advisers; regulators, law enforcement or courts where legally required; and a buyer, investor or successor in connection with a corporate transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
Suda does not sell personal information to third parties for their independent direct-marketing purposes.
8. Public information
Certain Suda information may be public or visible to other users depending on the feature and your settings. This may include a display name, profile photograph, Suda ID, public Reels, creator content or selected Passport information.
Do not post information that you do not want others to see.
9. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Suda, maintain account and transaction history, protect users, investigate abuse or fraud, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.
Deleting an account does not necessarily require immediate deletion of information that Suda must retain for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution or the integrity of booking, invitation and audit records.
10. Security
Suda uses technical, administrative and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. These may include access controls, authentication controls, encryption or cryptographic protections, secure session handling, logging and other safeguards.
No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent.
You may also be able to control profile visibility, location permissions, notifications and other settings within Suda or through your device.
Requests can be sent to [PRIVACY/LEGAL EMAIL]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
12. Account deletion
You may request deletion of your Suda account through available account controls or by contacting [PRIVACY/LEGAL EMAIL].
Certain information may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, safety, security, disputes or legitimate platform records.
13. Marketing communications
Where Suda sends promotional communications, you may opt out using the unsubscribe method provided or applicable account settings.
Transactional or security communications, such as OTPs, booking updates or invitation-related messages, may still be sent where required to provide the service.
14. Children
Suda is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or meet any higher minimum age legally required for a particular venue, product or activity in your jurisdiction.
Suda is not intended for children.
15. International processing
Suda and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, Suda will use appropriate measures to protect personal information transferred internationally.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Suda develops. Material changes may be communicated through the website, app or another appropriate channel.
The effective date at the top indicates when the current version became effective.
